[Quickly Drawn House 2]

...What?

I don't understand why this is doing so well. You submitted a flash demonstrating how you drew something that other users use constantly as background art, and you think it deserves to be up there with the other stuff? There is no audio, the house is, as the title implies, a bit rushed, the house itself is bumpy from use of small strokes of the paintbrush tool, the flash is dull and slow, and there's not even that much to show for it in the end.

You're not that bad of an artist, but I would suggest putting your abilities towards something... more.

Dislike

Did not particularly enjoy flash. Reused graphics detracted from entertainment. Not a fan of milk. Suggest more effort, increase in duration, and a better hitarea on "MENU" button.

Awesome

I love the artwork! I think your animations were a bit smoother using stick figures, but the higher quality of the images themselves makes up for it! Only problem I saw was towards the end some of the dialogue was too quiet and the music was loud enoutg that you couldn't hear what was said.

Almost not bad

This was some sound and some color away from passing, in my eyes. To make it even better, you could tighten up some of the graphics and add a background (or several, if you like).

How something such as this might be improved.

There are a number of things I personally found aversive to my own personal tastes in this submission. First of all, its length. I find it hard to enjoy any 7-frame loop (admittedly I'm not entirely certain exactly how many frames this loop contained, but I think that any number "around seven" is much too short). Perhaps if you made it longer, you could deal with the second problem: lack of coherent plot. I know this is a trailer, but there should be at least some indication as to the nature of the plot within the trailer, if cryptic. Additionally, I found the use of color to be, regrettably, nothing short of obnoxious. The cyan background clashes horribly with the red car, white text, etc. and, quite frankly, it looks as if you didn't even try to come up with a decent background color. All-in-all, he music was decent, but I believe that nearly every other aspect of this flash could be improved.

For one, I absolutely DESPISE movies that are made in Windows Movie Maker and then turned into flash, especially movies like this that could easily be made in flash instead. Secondly, what's up with the blank white space on either side of the video? Properly size your vids. Finally, it was much, much too short. You should have combined this one and your other one into a single movie.

What?

The music was bloody wonderful, and the message wasn't all that bad, but the animation utterly sucked. The shape tween was used excessively, the background just changed colors, and NOTHING HAPPENED.

Lol, ye I kinda slapped it together in a rush to just get it out there and see what people thought. Gonna spend a lot more time on the next one to get some buttons and maybe a few characters for eye candy :)

Passable

Not the best animated thing I've seen, but I did like the fight choreography. Try to smooth out the animations a bit so it doesn't look so jumpy.

First of all, it's spelled zombIE, you twit.

All in all, it was pretty good. You not knowing how to spell zombie was the only thing that really pissed me off about this movie.

I didn't like how the characters "walked" (or, rather, moved quickly without moving their feet), and I think it would have been better if it were longer, but overall, a good short.

I'm sorry the conversion of ie to y offends you so much... it was actually going to be a gag in later Zomby episodes, it explains the scientist corporations responsible for the infestations, but now I'm thinking that it's just unnecessary. I also just wanted to call it "Zombie" but I wanted to switch it up a bit so it wasn't a bland name, and "Xombie" was already taken... and I really enjoy the "South Park" style walk, it's my own guilty pleasure. I'm glad you took the time to review it, and I hope you enjoy future episodes a lot more!
